A Data Warehouse maintains historical data for trending, analysis and data mining by third party tools. Reports characterize the demand for resources by application, workload (grid job), time of day, duration, server, and other parameters, Integration to external systems enables use in policy management, real time provisioning, capacity planning, and chargebacks.
